Drama, it is everywhere, oh my gosh!!
Boy at work is quiet as hell, doesn't talk to anyone unless you talk to him first and he knows you enough. Anyway, his name is Charles, and he's an okay guy, I guess.
He's dating an associate of mine, whose name is not worth mentioning because I don't feel like revealing what her name is, kay? xD Anyway, they're dating, and they're adorable.
Girl at work, I'll call her Jessica. She just got out of a relationship that lasted for more than half a year. She broke up with the guy, and now she's a flirty, giggly, teenager who doesn't think about what she tells people and how it might affect her.
Well, she's been talking a lot to Charles and getting to know him and basically, it seems, trying to be all over him. She would touch his arm, whisper in his ear, and giggle everytime she walked past him.
So, I get a comment on Myspace (where drama always seems to start at) from Charles's girlfriend, asking me to do a favor for her: to tell Jessica to back the f^$# up from her boyfriend. Apparently, he had told her that Jessica was flirting with him and carrying on with that kind of behavior. She stated that if Jessica didn't stop, something would happen. Haha, funny right? She even tried to say that he told her I was acting the same way. Pfft. Whatever. I told her I wasn't interested in him and I thought they were too sweet as a couple to be messed with anyway. I didn't have any interest in him whatsoever since they've started dating, so, she had nothing to worry about. She was like "Okay, but tell her anyway". I was like "Fine, but, I'm not going to get into this."
Today at work, I told Jessica what Charles's girlfriend asked me to tell her. Jessica was shocked and she decided to not talk to Charles at all for the rest of the day (yeah right, her mind doesn't even stay on one topic for long). Now, I told Charles as soon as he got to my register that I wasn't even thinking about flirting with him. I was just being nice because he didn't talk much, and in order for him to talk back, I had to be polite and chillaxed. I told him I was mad at him, but, I mentioned I was just playing. However, he knew where I stood. Awhile later, Jessica came back from her lunch break, and told me that she had conversated with Charles about what people had told her (someone else told her that his girlfriend had said she broke up with her boyfriend to get with him, which is a lie) and she wanted to get everything out in the open. Charles only listened, she said, and the facts from her were that she only liked him as a friend, didn't want anything to do with him in that way, and she broke up with her ex-boyfriend because she wanted to get out of a relationship - she didn't want to get into another one. She finished by saying that she was okay with them being friends, but, she didn't want him. He ended up leaving and she sighed in frustration when she finished telling me all this.
Another girl I work with (who is my third bestie) thinks that she was going too far with how she was acting because of the fact that Charles told her (my bestie) that he didn't like the way Jessica was acting around him. So, my bestie knows everything that is going on, except for the last part (which I plan on telling her tonight, if she gets on). She needs to be kept in this ring, too, for my sake.
-le sigh-
I know for a fact that he is going to go back to his girlfriend, tell her everything that happened, and she is going to "yell" at me over AIM or Myspace or whatever, and try and get me mad. Haha. That's sooo gay. Because, like, I'm going to be like "You knew that something would happen. Did you expect her to keep her mouth shut and not say anything to anyone? She talks a lot, and, you were the one who asked me to say something to her." To tell you the truth, I would go into a huge speech, but, for her sake, I'll only tell her that if she does end up sending me some kind of angry message via email or IM.
Lol. Drama is overrated. Seriously. xD Thank GAWD I've survived all the "BS" that happened when I was still in high school.
Hehe. Life is awesome.
