Exactly a year since I have posted anything in my lovely dA journal. Let me tell you, so much has happened. Of course, I won't tell everything to everyone on here. Some things need to be kept private. Seriously, does anyone care about such things anymore? Anyways..

 

A few things have happened:

- Started working as an LPN at a nursing home and rehab facility in January. I can't believe I have been there for so long. It has been nothing but work, and despite not having a social life, the money is good.

- Looking forward to going back to school for my ADN. I really want to become an RN; therefore, I need that little bit of school to make it. Having the big letters "RN" after my name on my signature will look pretty damn sweet.

- I have lost interest in Neopets for now. I usually tell myself it won't be forever, and sometimes, I am right. I ended up being recruited by an old RP buddy of mine to a site known as Alacritis - East of Paradise. I have been there since March, and I have loved every minute. I have met some very nice people there and having those connections when the real world looks bleak has been a nice relief. I am able to disappear into that world and roleplay to my heart's content. Some of my Lupe characters from Neo are there - not the really big ones I had, but a couple of my favorites all the same. If you are interested, you are more than welcome to drop on by and say "Hello" in the c-box. We don't bite. =]

- Working all of the time means I have had hardly any kind of a social life. I miss seeing my real life best friends and even talking to them is a challenge. They have all become so busy and I hate that I don't see them all at least once a week. You know the kind of person that says, "I really should go visit So&So?" I told myself I never wanted to be one of those people and now, because of being an adult, I have become that person. I really do not like it. AT ALL.

 

That is it, I suppose. I still belly dance (my troop is amazing), and I love to spend time with my boyfriend. We will be three years in December (I can't believe it), and our love is still burning. Throughout my work schedule and dealing with getting ready for school again, he has understood. Tell me I will find someone else who has that kind of patience. =] I think not!

I have been out of school for a couple of months. Aside from the hours I put in at work during the week and spending time with people I love, I have more free time. :] This reason is probably why I have found myself on Neopets again. The last time I was really hooked on the site was more than two years ago. Since then, everything has changed.

For one, I cannot find any Lupe or Kougra RPers - AT ALL. It makes me sad because when I first started playing on Neo, there were endless users who had the drive and imagination to roleplay their pets. That's why I was so hyped when I came back...until I realized that the numbers have slimmed down quite a bit. I have only met a couple of people on the site now who still roleplay their Lupes, but it's still rare to find them. The world I knew from that site has vanished...

Anyway, I was just wondering if there were still Lupe or Kougra RPers out there. I know a few people on dA who have posted something about roleplaying in the past; I'm just curious if they are still around. I miss giving my characters life, updating their pages, and having the excitement of a reply when I come home from whatever I've been doing [work, boyfriend time, studying, etc].

If anyone does see this journal and think of "Oh my gosh, someone still believes RPers still exist!", then don't hesitate to send me a note, leave a message, whatever. :] I will most likely answer on the same day.

Quad or anthro, either one works for me. I have adjusted to being comfortable with both. <3

and I am on the same computer I received for my 22nd birthday (hooray for surviving technology!).

A few things have changed since I last came up for air on this site.
Such as....
- 20 month anniversary with the boyfriend yesterday :]
- Finished LPN school and anxiously awaiting for my boards test date
- Working nonstop at my grocery store, counting endless tills and whatnot

Eh. That's about it.
Nothing too special here. :]
Ummm...my birthday was two weeks ago?
Somewhere around there, maybe earlier...haha.

Anyway.
Just got back from a lovely weekend getaway with the family [needed BIG time].
Got to paddle down a rocky river and get stuck a few times.
Woke up sore. :]
The good sore, though.
Hmm.

I'm logging out for now.
Mama got a new computer game (murder mystery). Gonna try it out.

I will be done!

Meh.
Keeps me from getting in trouble [haha, there's nothing in my part of the woods to do].

Anywho, this is a very short entry.
It's whatever, I don't mind it.

Off to study some more, then work at 2!
Being a bookkeeper is hard work. :/ Eep.

Hmmm.

I think I have a ghost in my house.
Every time I hear some type of movement against the window's screen,
I swear it is my cat, Grey.
Buttttt....
whenever I look, there's nothing there.
And the sounds continue when I don't see anything at the window!

Ooof.
'Tis okay.
It's not like the ghost would kill me.
Haha.
